PROJECT

This project, Muttertier, talks to different women around the world who have been told things about their identity in the profile of ‘mother.’  Muttertier works towards finding physical shapes and forms to these profilings as a form of catharsis and humor to the pain inflicted.

Susann Volzer, from Cologne Germany, developed this project in San Francisco as a visiting artist of Think Make Tank in 2016. This collaboration embodies the personal and artistic growth core to Think Make Tank’s mission—which is to be a platform for experiences and vision to be explored and shared.

Muttertier is an ongoing project and the THINK MAKE TANK welcomes contributions from participating members.
